Welcome to my downloads page. For some time now I've been amusing myself by writing computer programs. I know... but you have to do something to pass the time! Anyway, I've written a couple of things that may be useful, so here they are.

SessionLog (For Mac & Windows) - Shareware

This is software for recording, project, Midi studios. Written by a studio owner/engineer, for others of a similar ilk. It's so easy to use and doesn't get in the way. Virtually NO learning curve!

• It keeps track of session start & stop times, just click in the date field to insert the current date. Click in the start time field at the start of the session, and the stop time field at the end. It's that simple. All calculations are done on the fly. An invoice can be printed on the spot.
• It stores song titles and lengths so you always know how much material time has been recorded.
• It prints track sheets that you can customise quite radically, from 8 to 32 tracks. You can even import your own logo.
• It keeps track of your stock, and can issue warnings when stock reaches your set minimum level.
• It can store 10 cue points for each song, along with tempo, key, meter, sync information, settings for 10 FX boxes with 12 parameters per box per song. You can print all this on a song specific track sheet. Or, you can print plain sheets in various forms (to many to mention here).
• It can keep track of up to 20 midi devices per song, with 12 parameters per device.
• It keeps track of people too. Up to 20 musicians plus producer, engineer, assistant etc., per song.
• It has a built in address book that is one key press away, so you can always find 'that bass' player quickly. The address book and people window are linked, names stored in the address book are always available in the people window via pop up menus.
• SessionLog also has a built in diary to keep track of studio bookings,
• A calculator which does tempo stuff,
• And a guitar/bass/6 octave chromatic tuner with a=440 and line up tones.

WorshipLeader (for Mac & Windows) - Shareware

WorshipLeader has been written by a worship leader to aid the process of organising church worship teams. It handles...

• Members: Names, addresses, phone numbers etc. Plus what they play, sing or do.
• Songs: Song lyrics are stored along with key, copyright and CCLI information. Chords can be entered too. Songs-chord sheets-Ohps can be printed. Chords can be transposed.
• Meetings: Up to 20 songs can be entered from the song data base. The key is displayed automatically. You can also enter a comment i.e. "not too fast please," or anything else you fancy. Lists can be printed along with chord sheets and Ohps if needed. Song usage is recorded for CCLI purposes.
• Rotas: The bane of my time as a worship leader! Rotas can be easily set up and printed out.
• Dates: It has a built in diary to keep track of forthcoming events.
• Projector: A window with a large display for projecting songs. It has a very fast song find system.

BookWorm (For Mac & Windows) - Shareware

BookWorm is a specialised text editor to aid those who write stories/novels.
BookWorm has 3 visible windows.

one for the main story
one for chapter notes,
one for characters.

Chapter notes are always 'synched' to their chapter, but characters are global and always visible.

Stories are treated as projects, with their own folder and associated files.
Projects can be moved - backed up
There are prefs settings for font and font size for each window.
Chapters can be renamed and have their order changed at any time.
