Record/CD Production:
More years experience than I care to remember. I'm a very experienced studio engineer, mix down specialist, seasoned musician and midi programmer. Any musical style you like. I can help you realize your goal, and save you a lot of heart ache, and expense.
Mixing: (General studio work)
I'm a professional studio engineer, and specialise in all aspects of multi track recording. Particularly mixing down multi track sessions and editing.
Midi Programming: (Logic audio on Apple Mac)
I have a comprehensive midi set up, running Logic Audio for sequencing and hard disc editing. The system provides excellent print outs of midi data, for professional looking scores, and parts for musicians.
Session Work:
I'm a seasoned player, piano, bass, and guitar, and have a fair knowledge of synths. I don't read music, but have an instinctive feel for it, and can learn most songs in a matter of minutes.
Recording:
Any amount of midi and audio tracks from computer. Mastering to Dat or hard disc. I also have automated mix down, (within the computer). I can turn out very nice sounding albums!
Musical Instruments: (general advice)
I've written a booklet on musical instruments, explaining various facets of their nature, together with hints and tips on how to get the best out of them. Look on the books page.
Teaching on any of the above: (seminars, 1 on 1)
I'm quite happy to take seminars on any of the above subjects, or do one on one training. Contact me with your requirements.
Backing Tracks

Tracks Made to Order:
Send me a copy of the song you want arranging on sheet music, CD or cassette, and I'll make up a track to order. Any style, any instrument line up, in fact, anything you require.
Key and Tempo:
Songs will be kept in a library for quick dispatch, however, should you require tracks in a particular key or at your specific tempo, or need a song without those 'nasty' drums? This can all be arranged. It costs a bit extra because of the extra work involved, but that's better than straining for the high notes!
Tracks supplied on cassette:
All tracks can be supplied on audio cassette. You can have a single song, or combination of songs of your choice, in the order you want.
Tracks supplied as midi files on CD or via e-mail.
Midi files are very popular and easy to use if you have a midi player. There are several suppliers of 'standard' type midi files, by standard I mean 'bland'! If you want some 'oomph' give me a call.
Tracks supplied on CD:
With the possible exception of mini disk, CD is by far the best way to work with backing tracks. Pitch is stable, speed is stable. They are far less likely to 'scrunch' in the machine.... They are easy to cue, or pre program, and one CD can hold up to 18 songs. No changing tapes for each song, or being stuck with a fixed running order. The transfer process is quite complex and requires a lot of time, hence added expense compared to tape. But if you calculate the cost of 18 tapes, and add in the inconvenience factor, it's well worth the extra.
MP3:
I can encode your music into MP3, for internet use, or put them on a DVD to play through your Telly!
Tracks supplied on DAT:
If you are making an album and want to go into a studio, they will not take kindly to tracks on cassette! Much better to have them transferred to Dat, or CD first. Tracks can be optimised during this process for level, noise reduction, and frequency response matching. Have all the tracks at the same level, and sounding similar. Most important if you've mixed and matched your tracks from different suppliers.
Track Transfers:
Have your existing tracks put on CD. They are easier to cue, and the pitch is more stable. They are also more robust, and easier to carry than tapes. One CD can hold up to 74 minutes of audio, that could be 18 songs if they're all quite short. I can transfer between Dat, CD, tape, and midi. Can't do audio to midi I'm afraid, technology isn't that advanced - yet! I can also clean up and balance the sound of your tracks. Useful if you've bought them from different suppliers. Have them all at the same level with the same tonal balance.

Radio Production
Radio Post Production |
Radio Shows Production |
| This
is a new string on my bow:
I recently came into contact with a Radio Production
company and made some audition scenes for them. I found this
to be most challenging and enjoyable. Making up sound efx to
a script and actors voices is fun. |
Something
I've been doing for several years now.
I currently produce, "Days Of Wonder," Jarrod Cooper's very popular radio show. I can do the same for your ministry. Radio production needn't be expensive, contact me with your requirements. I offer fast turn around with excellent, tried and tested audio quality approved by UCB. Custom written jingles come as standard. |
PA Systems
PA. Systems: (advice, training)
I have many years experience with PA, and have engineered in the NEC (Birmingham), and Wembly Stadium (London, before they knocked it down!). They don't come much bigger than that!. I can advise on buying, setting up, and using PA systems. I've written a little booklet on PA which is free on this site. I've also run several training courses too. Advice is free, contact me.
Training..
The biggest problem with most PA systems is the operator (sorry guys, I love you really). I'm happy to come to you and share what I know. One on one, or full seminars. I'm happy either way.
Contact me to discus your needs.
What will it cost me?
The variations are too numerous to attempt a fixed rate price list. Please e-mail me with your specific requirements or use the form on the contact page, and we can discuss prices then. Any information you find on this site is free, and may be used as you need it. I don't charge fixed fees for visits, but rely on love gifts etc. God is my provider HALLELUJAH!
